Jeremy D. Goux
Jeremy D. Goux was born in Metairie, Louisiana. He graduated from Newman High School in 1990. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi in 1994, and graduated from Loyola School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1997.
He was admitted to practice in Louisiana on October 20, 1997, beginning his legal career in December 1997 as an Assistant District Attorney in St. Tammany Parish. In October of 1998, he led the Domestic Violence Division, a cooperative effort also involving the Sheriff, Parish Government, and Safe Harbor, a non-profit shelter for battered women.
He resigned seven years thereafter in the fall of 2003, merging his firm to create Wynne, Goux & Lobello Attorneys at Law, L.L.C.
Jeremy incorporated the skills and techniques into his civil practice, representing individuals, corporations, and health care providers in the areas of litigation, regulatory compliance, medical malpractice defense, acquisitions, development, and employer/employee issues. In July 2011, Jeremy was appointed as Magistrate presiding over Mayor’s Court for the City of Covington; a position held until July 2018. And in September 2013, he was elected Vice President of the Louisiana Nursing Home Association Region 1.
Jeremy maintains associations with the Louisiana Bar Association, DRI, the American Health Care Association and the Louisiana Nursing Home Association.
